(GSM Insider) - Samsung Galaxy S3 In Purple Set For Launch In The America.

Folks that living in the United States are damn lucky as another new device is arriving. It is the Samsung Galaxy S3 in purple color. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is old but the purple color version will be the latest. 


According to the internal document of Sprint, it reveals that Samsung Galaxy S3 in purple is set to for launch in the coming weeks. The launch date of the Sprint Galaxy S3 in purple falls on April 12, 2013. There is only  the 16GB version and the leaked document did not mention on either 32GB or 64GB versions. 

Unfortunately, no pricing yet on the Samsung Galaxy S3 in purple. But the Samsung Galaxy S4 set for launch a month earlier than the April 12, 2013. The purple might be appealing but the Samusng Galaxy S4 is coming soon.

(GSM Insider) - Latest HTC Windows Phone Arrives At FCC,Heading At Sprint Soon.


Sprint users, this is a good news for you. A HTC brand Windows Phone just arrives at FCC for inspection. 

HTC PL80110 is the device that arrives at HTC. Engadget confirms that this is indeed a Windows Phone device. Seems like HTC is working fast on new Windows Phone.

The interesting part is HTC PL80110 is compatible with Band 25 LTE of  Sprint. This HTC PL80110 is heading to Sprint for sure.

Off course this HTC PL80110 include the NFC feature as well. From the FCC document, the HTC PL80110 indeed a normal size Windows Phone. We shall wait for the confirmation and launch of this device.

(GSM Insider) - This ZTE Flash that leaked a few months ago finally goes official. Local retailers unveiled it instead of ZTE or Sprint. At the moment, it is available at two retailers.

Samsung Confirms Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update Coming To US Galaxy S III Variatns "In Coming Months"

Japanese Carrier Softbank In Talks With Sprint Over Acquisitions

(GSM Insider) While there are rumours stating that Japanese mobile operator Softbank interested to takeover Sprint, Sprint has make official announcement that the talks between both parties are going on. There are no confirmation on when the deal going to conclude.


Here is the official press release from Sprint:

“Sprint Confirms Discussions with Softbank on a Possible Transaction

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), October 11, 2012 – Sprint (NYSE: S) today confirmed that it is currently engaged in discussions with Softbank regarding a potential substantial investment by Softbank in Sprint. Although there can be no assurances that these discussions will result in any transaction or on what terms any transaction may occur, such a transaction could involve a change of control of Sprint. Sprint does not intend to comment further unless and until an agreement is reached.” – Sprint

We dont know what's going to happen with the Sprint if Softbank successfully acquired it. Sprint is currently the third largest mobile operator in the United States after AT&T and Verizon. This is not just a small investment but Softbank wants to fully acquire Sprint and in total control of it. Will it brings new challenges to other carriers in the United States?  Maybe.  [Sprint USA]

Apple iPhone 5 Sold Out In Less Than An Hour As Pre-order Ends Earlier

(GSM Insider) - There are a lot of people making fun with the iPhone 5 as the design gets boring. The size does not get wider but taller only. iPhones Continue To Drop Price As New Model Coming Soon

Sprint CEO Says Investment on Apple iPhone Worth The Money



(GSM Insider) - Sprint CEO Dan Hesse told the reporters at Sprint 's Kansas headquarters that the iPhone was too good to miss on Sprint. Because of the high popularity of Apple iPhone in the USA, many customers decided to wait for the iPhone launched. “You really don’t want to be on the outside,” he said.

When asked about the partnership with Apple, the CEO noted that the Apple called them last year, saying, “I think the No. 1 thing was getting the call from Apple that they were interested in at least having the opportunity.” During the course of the interview, Hesse commented that the iPhone is a good product for the long-term since customers are more valuable in the long run.

Sprint Launched Samsung Array - Feature Phone With QWERTY Slider



Samsung Array using a sliding QWERTY keyboard, like texting Muzhiyizu is an ideal fit. Aspects of the screen, optional 2.4-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. It uses a 480MHz processor of Qualcomm products, with a 2 million pixel camera, LED flash function also has a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack and microSD expansion card slot. The battery capacity is 1000mAh, can support 4 hours of talk time, standby time of more than 10 days.

The Samsung feature phones by the operator Sprint issued, suitable for a young group of students interested in the crowd to send text messages.
