Nokia Lumia 720 Arrives At FCC For Inspection

(GSM Insider) - Nokia Lumia 720 Arrives At FCC For Inspection.

Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 720 were officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2013 on last month. The Nokia Lumia 520 was arrived at FCC about two weeks and the Nokia Lumia 720 arrives at FCC as well earlier today. 


The latest Windows Phone 8 device has been arrived at the FCC for inspection. In other words, the Nokia Lumia 720 is now ready for launch in the American market. [Extra reading: Nokia Lumia 720 hands-on]

The Nokia Lumia 720 doesn't support 4G LTE network in the United States. So the users are not able to use the device for fast speed connection. However, the Nokia Lumia 720 supports the HSPA+ of AT&T.

(GSM Insider) - Nokia Lumia 520 Arrives At FCC, Coming Soon To American Market.

Earlier before, GSM Insider reported that the Nokia Lumia 520 approved in China. The same device also stopped at the FCC and ready for launch in the American market. 



The Nokia Lumia 520 arrives at FCC with the model number of RM-914. It features a 4-inch display, dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 5-megapixels main camera, 8GB of RAM and a MicroSD slot. However, it doesn't have front-facing camera and NFC.

Nokia Lumia 520, cheapest Windows Phone 8 device is priced at EUR $139.

(GSM Insider) - BlackBerry Z10 Stops At FCC For Inspection.

At the launch event of BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry CEO confirms that the device is heading to major carriers in the United States. 


Recently, the BlackBerry Z10 for AT&T already arrived at FCC for inspection. Another BlackBerry Z10 arrives at the FCC too. It is the variant for the Verizon in the United States. The BlackBerry Z10 for Verizon has the model number of STL 100-4 which already approved by the FCC. 

At the moment, the BlackBerry Z10 isn't ready for launch in the market yet due to component shortages. Everything will set for launch in the United States only a few weeks later.

Most of the Sony fans are discussion about the pricing and availability of Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia ZL. Who still remember the low budget Sony Xperia E that was launched back in December 2012?



The low budget and low key Sony Xperia E was arrived at FCC for inspection. Seems like Sony is yet to forget the low budget market.

According to the FCC filing, Sony Xperia E features a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 resolution display, single-core 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory as well as a 1500mAh battery. The Sony Xperia E runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. 

Sony Xperia E will available in three colors - black, white and pink. It is going to arrive at UK within this month. Its going to have a dual-SIM version known as Sony Xperia E Dual.

(GSM Insider) - Samsung GT-N5110 Arrives At FCC, It Is The Galaxy Note 8.0 For American Market.

When a new device arrives at the FCC for inspection, it means that this device is arriving at the American market soon. A Samsung device with the model number of GT-N5110 arrives at the FCC. 


From the model number "GT-N5110", it already showed that this device is under the Samsung Galaxy Note product lineup. So, it is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.

The FCC image showed that Samsung GT-N5110 is indeed similar like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 that was leaked before. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 not only leaked for once but twice. The second leakage showed Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 placed side-to-side with its predecessor Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with a stylus.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is ready for the appearance at the Mobile World Congress 2013 on next month.

At the CES 2013, Alcatel unveiled a new tablet known as the One Touch Evo 7 HD. It is the One Touch Evo 7 tablet with an HD display. The Alcatel One Touch Evo 7 without HD display just arrives at the FCC for inspection. 


The Alcatel One Touch Evo 7 is disappointed because it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which is an older version of Android. With this outdated operating system, the pricing for Alcatel One Touch Evo 7 won't be high.

(GSM Insider) - Sony Xperia Z Disassembled And Torn Down By FCC, Reveals The Inner Components And Parts.

The Sony Xperia Z was not available but it was torn down by someone already. Its the FCC that torn down the Sony Xperia Z and revealed the inner body of it. 






Sony Xperia Z equips with GSM, LTE and WiFi already approved by FCC. In other words, it is heading to the North American market soon. Probably the United States and Canada that getting the Sony Xperia Z in "coming weeks" or maybe in "coming months".

Although the Sony Xperia Z was disassembled by FCC, but the images provided by FCC did not reveal anything on the water-proof feature. Hardly can see the differences of those parts and components whether they are coated with the water-proof nano-technology.

(GSM Insider) - Latest HTC Windows Phone Arrives At FCC,Heading At Sprint Soon.


Sprint users, this is a good news for you. A HTC brand Windows Phone just arrives at FCC for inspection. 

HTC PL80110 is the device that arrives at HTC. Engadget confirms that this is indeed a Windows Phone device. Seems like HTC is working fast on new Windows Phone.

The interesting part is HTC PL80110 is compatible with Band 25 LTE of  Sprint. This HTC PL80110 is heading to Sprint for sure.

Off course this HTC PL80110 include the NFC feature as well. From the FCC document, the HTC PL80110 indeed a normal size Windows Phone. We shall wait for the confirmation and launch of this device.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 that available in the market is yet to compatible with the LTE connectivity. But this going to change soon as LTE version arrives at FCC.


According to document from FCC suggests that Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with LTE arrives for inspection. The LTE connectivity on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is compatible with the 4G LTE of Verizon in the United States.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 compatible with Verizon's Band 13 and Band 4 (AWS) spectrum. Besides the LTE connectivity, this 10.1-inch LTE tablet comes with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity as well.

Second BlackBerry 10 Device Arrives At FCC For Inspection

(GSM Insider) - Second BlackBerry 10 Device Arrives At FCC For Inspection

Two days before, the first BlackBerry 10 L-Series device arrived at FCC. Rumours stated that it could be the BlackBerry Z10 that comes with full touch screen. Earlier today, another BlackBerry 10 device was arrived at FCC as well.


From the FCC document above, there are no information on the name of the BlackBerry 10 device. However, it only showed the model number of RFH121LW. Furthermore, the information stated that it is BlackBerry XXXX. That is the only information spotted at the document. 

The device above could be either the device of BlackBerry 10 L-Series or N-Series. 

With the BlackBerry 10 launch event held on January 30, 2013. More leaks and information are coming soon for sure.

(GSM Insider) - BlackBerry 10 Device Arrives At FCC, Could Be The BlackBerry L-Series Device

BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry X10 no longer a secret if you followed us since last year. Both of these devices surfaced more than five times although the launch date still about 30 days away.


Earlier today, a mysterious BlackBerry 10 device was arrived at FCC for inspection. From the design, it looks like the BlackBerry 10 L-Series and probably the BlackBerry Z10. 

The BlackBerry 10 L-Series device is compatible with the AT&T's LTE and GSM networks and other international networks. Furthermore, the FCC document also suggested that at least three BlackBerry 10 devices out there. 

Will these three devices are BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry X10 and another one? Anyone know the name? Comment at below.

The phablet market is definitely another target for manufacturers to tap on. There are many manufacturers that set to introduce 5-inch phablet while there were many 5-inch phablets launched in past few weeks. HTC Butterfly, Oppo Find 5, Sharp Aquos Phone and Nubia Z5 are among the latest 5-inch phablets. 


Two weeks before, Panasonic P-02E was leaked in Japan along with the specs as well. Furthermore, it receives approval from FCC earlier today. 

Information from Japan revealed Panasonic P-02E comes with 5-inch display with 1080p Full HD resolution and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Rumours added that the processor is 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro, 2GB of RAM and Wireless Charging supports. 

As the Panasonic P-02E arrived at FCC, it could be possible heading to American market soon.

ZTE is working extremely hard to ensure its devices appear in different countries around the world. Few days ago, ZTE Grand X was launched in Indonesia. And now, the ZTE Grand X arrived at FCC for inspection. 



Since the FCC approved the ZTE Grand X V970, means the device is heading to American market very soon. From the FCC document, it was revealed that the ZTE Grand X V970 comes with a T-Mobile logo at the back. In other words, the ZTE Grand X V970 is indeed heading to T-Mobile USA.

ZTE Grand X V970 comes with 4.3-inch display, 1GHz MediaTek MT6577 dual-core processor, 5-megapixels camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The price and launch date is yet to announce by T-Mobile, but the launch date is definitely not far away.

Acer Iconia Tab B1 Leaks and Passes Through FCC, Brings B & N Nook's Physical Button

(GSM Insider) - Acer Iconia Tab B1 Leaks and Passes Through FCC, Super Low Budget Tablet Set For Debut Early 2013.

It the past, Acer released many Android and Windows 8 tablets to the market as many come with high end specs and high price. But latest proves suggest that Acer has the intention to introduce the super low budget tablet. 



The upcoming Acer brand tablet known as the Acer Iconia B1 or known as Acer Iconia Tab B1. The image below showed the possible press image of the Acer Iconia B1. It was approved by FCC earlier today as the FCC document already spotted as well. 

The Acer Iconia B1 is said to be similar like the Barnes & Noble Nook tablet due to the button on the left bottom of the device. The button is a physical home button.

Acer Iconia B1 is set to feature 1.2GHz MediaTek dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 8GB of internal memory, bluetooth, WiFi and microSD expansion. 

The important thing is how much this Acer Iconia B1 priced at? Rumours stated that it is around $99 only. If the price is true, it is real super low budget tablet! There are two events coming soon - CES 2013 and Mobile World Congress 2013. This super low budget tablet could arrive on either event.

Huawei Honor 2 U9508 Passes Through FCC Inspection, Heading To America Soon

(GSM Insider) - Huawei Honor 2 U9508 launched in China last month. But it arrives at the FCC for inspection means it is heading to American market soon.

The FCC document revealed that Huawei Honor 2 compatible with the 3G network of carriers in the United States and Canada. So it could on its way to these countries very soon. 

Huawei Honor 2 U9508 packs with 1.4GHz K3V2 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The display size is 4.5-inch with 720p resolution. It has 8GB of internal memory and supports MicroSD expansion too. The rear camera is 8-megapixels while the front camera is VGA. 

At the moment, Huawei Honor 2 U9508 launched in China with Android 4.0 ICS preloaded. But it could launch in America with Jelly Bean on board. 

Last thing, pray hard that it will makes its appearance at CES 2013 next year and watch the promotion video as well.

Samsung SHV-E270L "Baffin" With 5-inch Display and Quad-Core Arrives At FCC For Inspections

(GSM Insider) - Earlier today, one mysterious smartphone from Samsung spotted at the FCC document. It is the Samsung SHV-E270L or known as the Baffin. It is a 5-inch display smartphone with quad-core processor.


According to report, Samsung SHV-E270L "Baffin" is going to launch in the Korean market. It has a powerful specs included the 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board, 2100mAh battery and it has a 5-inch display. However, the resolution is just 800 x 480 pixels. So it is not a flagship device because the specs are not completely powerful. News added that Samsung SHV-E270L "Baffin" looks similar like the Samsung Galaxy Grand. 

Samsung SHV-E270L "Baffin" is going to on sales at KL, LGU+ and SK Telecom soon.

Mysterious LG MS870 Handset Leaked, Compare Side-to-side With Galaxy S3

(GSM Insider) - Another LG device leaked this time, seems like LG is going big in the near future. The latest smartphone leaked is the LG MS870.


LG MS870 already spotted at FCC document. So it already received approval and ready to release in coming weeks. From the image, the LG MS870 looks almost same size with the Samsung Galaxy S3 but the display is smaller. 

The LG MS870 packed with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 4.5 inch of display, Android 4.0.4 ICS and supports 4G LTE network.

LG MS870 is for MetroPCS while LG LW870 heading to Cricket. Both are the same device just it supports different network.

HTC Droid DNA Gets Approval From FCC, Verizon Launch Is Imminent

(GSM Insider) - Finally the HTC Droid DNA is cleared for launch in the United States. HTC Droid DNA is the HTC J Butterfly variant that supposely heading to the Verizon Wireless.


From the FCC document, it showed the back view of the HTC Droid DNA. It supports the CDMA and LTE networks of Verizon. It is imminent for this HTC Droid DNA launch by Verizon. In the past, the HTC Droid DNA confirmed by Verizon website itself

No confirmation yet until it is launches by Verizon and HTC. HTC Droid DNA is set to feature 5 inches 1080p Full HD display, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and at least Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board.
