Samsung Galaxy S4 To Feature Display Higher Resolution Then Retina Display

(GSM Insider) - Samsung Galaxy S4 To Feature Display Higher Resolution Then Retina Display.

On last year, the smartphone war is about processors and internal memory. As the manufacturers built devices from single core to dual-core and to quad-core. Most of the devices that launched on last year are running on dual-core and quad-core processors. How about this year? Octa-core?

This year is not about the processors. Manufacturers no longer emphasize on the processors although Samsung did introduce the Exynos 5 Octa. It has dual set of quad-core processors. But the latest Tegra 4 and Snapdragon 800 remain at quad-core. This indicates that the era of processor war is over and new war is coming soon.

This year is going to be the high resolution display year. Tons of smartphone and tablets are flooding the market soon with Full HD display and even far exceed the Full HD resolution. As the latest source from TechCrunch reveals that Samsung Galaxy S4 might feature display that exceed the 440PPI. In other words, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will eclipse the 306 ppi screen of Samsung Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5’s 326 ppi.

Anyway, nothing is yet to confirm by Samsung. It isn't surprise if we see the Ultra HD or Full HD Samsung Galaxy S4 in this year. Follow GSM Insider for latest update on Samsung Galaxy S4.
