(GSM Insider) - Apple Grabbed 27% of Global LTE Device Market, But Samsung Remains On Top With 40%

The introduction of LTE-enabled iPhone 5 certainly brings success for Apple in the LTE device market. It has been months since the launched of iPhone 5 and the results surfaced.

In the latest numbers released by Strategic Analytics, the leader of global LTE device remains the same which is the Samsung. However, the market share of Samsung decreases from 50.9% to 40% in third quarter. The market share of Apple increases to 26.7% that allowed it to stand at second place. The third is LG with 9.1% while Pantech holds 5.8%.

This clearly showed that the LTE device is getting popular in the coming future. With more countries interested to introduce the 4G LTE networks, this will bring more sale for manufacturer with LTE devices.
